    I actually *do* do stuff with a wacky Japanese brush. And no pencil! So yeah ink, brush, paper, scanner, Photoshop, all set. 😀

    Pro equipment will, in fact, always have a profound impact on any artist’s output. Technology is a great equalizer, and otherwise average artists using above average equipment will typically get above average results. We all adapt and refine our workflows around the equipment we’re using, and the ongoing tension between the necessity to learn and the willingness to experiment is what pushes our work in new directions.
